Verizon ha pubblicato l’ormai consueto Report annuale sulla Sicurezza informatica.
Questo è il 15mo anno della pubblicazione che è, di fatto, il riferimento di base per analizzare l’andamento delle cyber minacce a livello mondiale.
Vale la pena di ricordare quanto venne scritto a commento del Report 2018:
“The DBIR was created to provide a place for security practitioners to look for
data-driven, real-world views on what commonly befalls companies with regard to
cybercrime. That need to know what is happening and what we can do to protect
ourselves is why the DBIR remains relevant over a decade later. We hope that as
in years past, you will be able to use this report and the information it contains
to increase your awareness of what tactics attackers are likely to use against
organizations in your industry, as a tool to encourage executives to support muchneeded
security initiatives, and as a way to illustrate to employees the importance
of security and how they can help.”
Il report analizza in dettaglio come nel 2022 si siano sviluppate le varie direttrici di attacco informatico utilizzate nel mondo, portando al centro soprattutto l’elemento umano, che risulta il vero anello debole nella catena della sicurezza.
